Website redesign · Australia-wide

A website redesign with a fixed price — and nothing lost on the way over.

A website redesign with MP Launch replaces your existing site with a new one at a fixed price decided by size $1,197, $1,897 or $2,897 — with your domain and email untouched, your content carried across, and every old page redirected to its replacement.

Most redesigns are quoted by the hour, which is why the published cost guides for Australia land anywhere between $5,000 and $150,000 and why the quotes arrive as a range with a comma in it. A redesign is our normal build with your existing content as the starting point, so it gets our normal prices — fixed, published, and the same whether we start from your old site or from nothing.

We're Adelaide-based and rebuild sites for service businesses anywhere in Australia. Most of the sites we've built replaced something that already existed — see them on our work page.

Why business owners put a redesign off

  • The current site was built years ago and looks it — especially on a phone, where most of your visitors are.
  • Nobody can update it: the person who built it has moved on, and the logins went with them.
  • You're worried a rebuild breaks the things that work — your email, your Google presence, the links people have saved.
  • Every quote you've had was hourly and open-ended, so the real price was 'we'll see'.
  • The old pages have history with Google, and a rebuild that ignores them throws that away.

What switching over actually involves

The redesign itself is the visible half. The other half is the switch — and the switch is where careless rebuilds lose email, links and Google visibility. This is the checklist we run on every one:

Your domain stays yours

It can stay exactly where it's registered — we point it at the new site with a two-record change. No transfer required, no ownership games.

Your email keeps working

If your email already works, we build around it and change nothing. The switch is planned so mail flow is never interrupted.

Your content carried across

We work from your existing site's real content — services, photos, wording — then improve it, rather than handing you a blank template and a content request.

Every old page redirected

Each old address gets a permanent redirect to its replacement, so saved links, printed URLs and Google's index all find the new pages instead of an error.

A preview before anything changes

The whole new site goes up on a preview address first. You review it page by page on your own phone before the switch is even scheduled.

A no-downtime cutover

Your old site stays live until the moment the new one takes over. The switch itself is a DNS change, not a gap.

What does a website redesign cost?

The size of the site decides the price, not the hours — and it is the same band you would pay for a build from scratch, because it is the same job with a head start.

How a redesign runs

1

Show us the current site

A short call while we look at what you have. You'll know your fixed price by the end of it — it's decided by size, not by hours.

2

We build on a preview address

Your content carried over and improved, the design brought up to now. Your live site isn't touched.

3

You review it page by page

On your own phone, at your own pace. Changes happen on the preview until you're happy.

4

The switch

A DNS change points your domain at the new site, the redirects go live for every old page, and the new sitemap is resubmitted to Google the same day.

Straight answers on price

$1,197 for a 3-page rebuild, $1,897 for 6 pages, $2,897 for 10 — and $280 for each page after that, up to 20. The same fixed prices as a build from scratch, because it is the same job with a head start. Every one includes the redirect map, the DNS switch, hosting and the security certificate.

After launch, a website has to live somewhere: Site Live at $79 a month covers hosting, the security certificate, backups and your web address renewal, and Site Care at $179 adds five changes a month so you stop having to ask what a small edit costs. Cancel any time. No hourly billing anywhere in it.

Reviews

What clients say about their launch.

Real 5-star Google reviews from Australian businesses we've put online.

We brought MP Launch in to get us found on Google and it's made a real difference. Peter took the time to understand the business, moved everything over smoothly with no downtime, and keeps us updated every month on how we're tracking. Genuinely feels like they care about the results, not just getting paid. Really happy we made the switch.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website redesign cost in Australia?

Published Australian cost guides put a professional redesign anywhere from about $5,000 to well past $40,000, usually because it is quoted by the hour. Ours is fixed and decided by the size of the site: $1,197 for 3 pages, $1,897 for 6, $2,897 for 10, and $280 for each page beyond that up to 20. Past 20 pages it stops being a website with more pages and becomes a project, so it gets a quote instead of a number.

Is a rebuild cheaper than a new website?

No, it is the same price, and that is deliberate. A rebuild is not less work: you gain your existing content, but we inherit mapping every old address so your Google listings still land, moving a live domain without breaking your email, and a site people already have opinions about. What changes is the timing, not the price.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Nobody can honestly promise your rankings survive any rebuild — anyone who guarantees that is guessing. What we promise is the work Google itself documents for a site move: every old page gets a permanent redirect to its replacement, your titles and content are carried over and improved rather than thrown away, and the new sitemap is resubmitted so Google is told exactly where everything went.

Can I keep my domain and my email?

Yes to both. The domain is yours and stays yours — it can stay right where it is registered, and we point it at the new site with a two-record change. If your email already works, nothing about it changes: we build around your existing setup rather than forcing a migration.

What happens to my old site while you build?

It stays live and untouched. The new site is built on a preview address you can open on your phone and review page by page. The switch is a DNS change at the end — your old site is up until the moment the new one takes over, so there is no gap where customers find nothing.

How long does a redesign take?

Five business days once we have your content, rather than the 48 hours our launch packages promise. That difference is honest rather than cautious: a rebuild waits on things you own — your registrar login, your photos, a decision about wording — and promising 48 hours would be promising something that is not ours to promise.

Do I have to take a monthly plan?

A website has to live somewhere, so something has to cover hosting, the security certificate, backups and your web address renewal — that is Site Live at $79 a month. Site Care at $179 adds five changes a month, so you stop having to ask what a small edit costs. The only genuine no-plan option is that you take the files and host it yourself, which we will do if you ask; we just do not recommend it.

Do you redesign online stores?

Yes, but a store is quoted after a look rather than priced off this page — product counts, payment setups and platform choices vary too much for a blind fixed price to be honest. The same goes for bookings, member logins and anything with a database behind it. Send the address and we will come back with a fixed quote for the build and for what it costs to look after.

What if my old website was built by someone I cannot reach anymore?

Common, and rarely a problem. If you control the domain, we can rebuild from what is publicly visible — the content on your live site — without needing the old builder's logins at all. If you do not control the domain, that is the first thing we sort out, and we will tell you honestly how hard it looks before you commit.

Send us the site you've got

Tell us the address of your current website and what's wrong with it. We'll tell you straight what a rebuild would cost — a fixed price off the table above — and whether it's worth doing now or worth waiting on.

Or leave your number and I'll call you.
